Research Description
Dr. Daniels's clinical and research interests focus in the areas of healthcare epidemiology and infection control. He has a particular interest in the control and spread of multi-drug resistant Gram-negative infections with an emphasis on <i>Acinetobacter baumannii</i> and <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>. In addition, Dr. Daniels has a strong commitment to developing effective antimicrobial stewardship programs in an effort to minimize the development and spread of resistant bacteria. Other interests include travel medicine and public policy initiatives.
