Clinical Description
Yu Luo, M.D., Ph.D., earned an M.S. in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, China and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Before earning his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, he worked as a Scientist at Pharmacyclics in Sunnyvale, CA, focusing on pre-clinical research in cancer and cardiovascular drug development. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Wayne State University and fellowships in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Musculoskeletal Radiology at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. In 2012, he joined the Vanderbilt faculty as Assistant Professor.
