Clinical Description
Dr. Rowe joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2011, and has held positions within the Adult Psychiatry Consultation Service, Osher Center of Integrative Medicine and the student Psychological and Counseling Center. She currently serves as the Medical Director of Complex Behavioral Services where she works to improve the care of patients identified with challenging medical and behavioral needs. In this role, Dr. Rowe provides biopsychosocial assessments, develops and revises behavioral care plans, and strengthens communication between the patients, family and medical teams, while studying its impact on the health care system and sharing that emerging knowledge in the medical education of students and residents. Dr. Rowe is the 2017 recipient of the Vanderbilt University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Clinical Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching
