Research Description
Charles Caskey, PhD, received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 where he conducted undergraduate research on ultrasound elasticity imaging in the Panscopic Imaging Lab at Texas and developed RF coils for MRI while interning at the University of Rochester, New York. He received his Ph. D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California at Davis in 2008 and is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences and Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His current research focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic applications of ultrasound with emphasis on image-guided therapy and drug delivery.
