CALL FOR APPLICANTS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN BIOMEDICAL INFORMATICS
The Walsh Lab, directed by Dr. Colin G. Walsh, MD, MA, FAMIA, is pleased to announce an opening for a fully funded postdoctoral position.
We are now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year with positions available for 2-years or 3-years depending on candidate interests. This fellowship is in high impact areas of suicide prevention enabled by predictive decision support, public health informatics to prevent opioid-related overdose, probabilistic phenotyping, and design and implementation science in real-world clinical systems.
We’re looking for a postdoctoral fellow with experience and interest in:
Applied predictive modeling on healthcare data, especially Electronic Health Records
A strong machine learning and biostatistical background
Collaborative, friendly (most important)
Python/R experience
Relational Database experience (a plus)
