Research Description
Jacob Houghton, Ph.D., earned a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and completed postdoctoral work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2016 as Assistant Professor, and he holds a secondary faculty appointment in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Houghton's research focus at VUIIS is preclinical development and translation of PET tracers for various types of cancer.
